Arc Raiders in 2026 has evolved significantly, and with it, the strategies for taking down every type of ark have changed. From nerfs to classic tactics to the addition of two new arks—the Comet and the Firefly—players need updated strategies to stay on top. While wolf packs remain a "god-tier" option, Embark Studios has made them more challenging to craft, requiring a rocketeer driver in addition to previous materials. If you don't have wolf packs handy, this guide will break down how to take out every ark efficiently.

Small Arks: Quick and Easy Takedowns with ARC Raiders buy BluePrints

The Tick

Ticks are straightforward. You can either shoot them off a ceiling or wall, or use a melee tool for a quieter, stealthy approach.

The Snitch

Contrary to popular belief, a single seeker grenade won't kill a Snitch. Instead, shoot off two of its three wings to make it crash. Alternatively, you can shoot the center of its body, but this consumes far more ammo.

The Pop

Pops attempt to suicide bomb players. You can dodge their blast at the last second or shoot them before they reach you. Aim for the round center of their body for maximum damage; avoid the outer ring, which is more resilient.

The Fireball

If you have heavy ammo weapons like the Anvil or Pharaoh, center-mass shots will one-shot a Fireball. For light or medium weapons, wait for it to roll near you, then attack the exposed area and immediately roll away to avoid fire damage.

The Wasp & Hornet

Wasps can be killed with a single seeker grenade, or by destroying two of their four turbines. Hornets are trickier due to armored front turbines; shoot either the front (after breaking armor) or the unprotected back turbines to bring them down. Snap hooks and dodge maneuvers help mitigate their attacks.

The Turret & Sentinel

Regular turrets are easy: two heavy ammo bullets, or a snap blast grenade. Sentinels take more damage but have predictable telegraphed attacks, making grenades especially effective.

The Surveyor

Surveyors roll away when shot, making them tricky. Heavy ammo works best, but light/medium ammo users can employ barricades to trap them for easier takedowns.

New Arks: Comet & Firefly

The Comet

Think of the Comet as a "Pop on steroids." It rolls toward you and charges a massive suicide attack. Five Anvil shots usually bring it down. If it gets too close, bait it near cover and let it explode safely.

The Firefly

Fireflies have a dangerous flamethrower attack. Like Hornets, breaking two turbines is enough to down them. Alternatively, destroy the V-shaped black armor above their eyes to expose them for heavy damage. Precision is key to avoid their close-range flamethrower.

Medium Arks: Tactical Approaches

The Leaper

Leapers are weak near doorways, where they struggle to reach players. Fire-based attacks like Blaze or Trailblazer grenades used to be effective but have been nerfed. Now, heavy ammo targeting the leaper's red eye works best.

The Rocketeer

Wolf packs are ideal against Rocketeers, but if unavailable, fight near cover. Shooting from far away can confuse them, slowing their approach. Focus on turbines or the V-shaped armor above their eyes. Snap hooks can be used for risky, high-reward kills.

Bastions & Bombaders

Two wolf packs above the target can kill instantly in open areas. Deadlines also work but require close proximity. Fire and trailblazer grenades have been nerfed, so heavy ammo and careful targeting of yellow joints and canisters remain reliable.

Large Arks: Queens & Matriarchs

The Queen

Solo lobbies are recommended. Use heavy ammo, energy ammo, or hullcrackers to chip away at her armor. Methods include targeting exposed core areas, shooting yellow joints like Bastions, or using snap hooks with deadlines for a high-risk, high-reward approach. Always have backup shields—her attacks can completely break them.

The Matriarch

Similar to the Queen but more dangerous. Front armor can be broken to permanently expose the core. Snap hook tactics are riskier due to additional reinforcements and accurate rocket attacks. Use high-damage weapons like Equalizer, Aelion, Jupiter, hullcrackers, or Anvil/Pharaohs.

Final Tips

Always fight near cover whenever possible.

Heavy ammo is generally more reliable than light or medium.

Save wolf packs and deadlines for high-value targets.

Backup shields are essential against large arks.

Solo or small lobbies are safer for major events like the Queen fight.

ARC Raiders BluePrints in 2026 rewards strategic thinking and careful preparation. By following these updated tips, you'll be ready to take down any ark efficiently and safely.
